Idea for a ghost I have. What do you think?

Ghoul:

• ‘The Ghoul is a powerful yet passive ghost, only attacking when it feels threatened. Usually weak, The Ghoul can become deceivingly fierce when backed into a corner.’

• Strengths: The Ghoul will start out weak, and become stronger over time. Checking if a player is nearby every 20 seconds, if there is, it will advance to its next stage of strength (increased activity, speed, and hunt-sanity threshold.)

• Weakness: The Ghoul is sensitive to light, and will revert 1 strength stage if the lights of its current room are on. It will return to its normal strength stage once the lights are turned off.

• Evidence: Spirit Box, Ghost Writing, Freezing Temperatures.

I know it says "you can run but you can't hide" and always has line of sight so does that mean you cannot hide from the deo in normal hiding spots at all?

Honestly i think its emf 5 spirit book ngl because it leaves you with spirit shade and myling

So after buying way to much stuff for way to many runs im now poor as crap and struggling i would normally do prof runs but now that im struggling to keep smudges and lighters in my truck ive hit a bump and im only level 35 with a above average understanding of each ghost for my level but the main thing that makes me die so much is that when the hunt starts i start getting stressed causing mistakes like falling for a double back while looping smudging way to much leaving me with none when it does hunt forgetting to smudge things like that I tried the weakly challenge (at the moment its hide and seek: seeker) 20 minutes for one attempt and i need to do 3 more not worth only 5k so what do i do

Anyone wanna tell me how not to be scared

If saying the ghost name to trigger ghost events or to ask questions from the Ouija or request from monkey paw

Do we use the local or global voice chat. And this does not include spirit box

Can anybody make a video of all the ghosts's hunting vocals (Like the girl singing voice or male croaking sound) and put the link to it under my comment? Please and thank you. This is just to feed my curiosity btw

Hi everyone I am new to this wiki and just wanted to say hi! I got the game yesterday, and it's been really fun. I got murdered by a mimic tho.

I started playing this game about 2 years ago and using the information on this wiki I very quickly went from being an idiot to finally getting the gold apocalypse trophy (before equipment rework, RIP anyone trying now with new camera).

What confused me reading through many pages of this wiki then and now is how anyone could conclusively determine many facts presented in various articles on this site. When I first started playing I had no idea how anything worked and was in no place to question any information on this wiki.

Now, after taking a long break and taking it upon myself to rewrite a guide I use as a quick reference, I've noticed a lot of weird very 'edge-case' aspects of ghosts that I can't fathom somebody would've stumbled upon playing the game normally.

For example, the activity section under Banshee strikes me as odd in particular. How could somebody have had the idea to be aware of/fulfill the conditions listed, ensure the event isn't one of two "female ghost vocalizations" (what does that even mean), and observe their sanity dropping 15% vs 10% (when sanity already varies ~6%) is beyond me.

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but unless the developers are updating information here instead of their patch notes, I don't see how any normal player could've discovered this information. I could provide many more examples but I think the Banshee example captures the essence of my concern with many odd claims lacking citations.

I do have the ability to easily and quickly verify this information, but that's all I'd be able to do; verify, not observe. Where are people getting this information from?

TL;DR - A lot of info I've come across on this wiki either doesn't make sense, or it doesn't make sense as to how somebody could've come across that information 'normally'. The way I see it, there's 4 possible answers:

1. There is some way to de-compile the code I'm unaware of

2. Kinetic team members are also maintaining this wiki

3. People are trolling / ignorant

4. There's some trainer who is putting this info on a table for ppl to read.

Please help clarify? =]

Grave yard (size of woodwind)

Mansion (about 2 edgefield houses)

Gas station (size of tanglewood)

Hotel (size of sunny meadows but no basement but with an upstairs)

Grandma’s house (size of bleasdale)

Does anyone know when the next update is or about when it is

Maybe some new ghost forms I don’t really have any ideas but does anyone else?

Should be less hard to level up and I’m not saying it’s not alr somewhat easy it’s that when you get up to the higher levels you have to do like 6 games with perfect investigation on somthing like night mere to go up 1 level And if you finish the apocalypse challenge you should get an ID card to show you’ve finished them any thoughts?
