The D.O.T.S Projector is a piece of electronic Starter Equipment, as well as a type of Evidence, that can be used to reveal the ghost running across it very quickly.
How It Works
The D.O.T.S Projector is mounted on the wall or floor similar to a Motion Sensor. It emits a matrix of bright green laser points in a small area from the projector.
If a Ghost can give D.O.T.S Projector evidence, it may appear as a figure running through the grid. D.O.T.S evidence is also visible through Video Cameras.
Tips
Currently, the silhouette of the Ghost running across can be very difficult to see, as it is both very faint and moves extremely fast, making it very easy to miss, not to mention that this does not happen every time the Ghost passes through the D.O.T.S Projector's beam.
Looking at the D.O.T.S Projector using a Video Camera with night vision on may help as it will make the silhouette easier to see.
Placing down both D.O.T.S Projectors in the room makes it much more likely that you see the Ghost's silhouette as you may see they D.O.T.S Projectors grey silhouette on top of the regular black silhouette appearances.
