The D.O.T.S Projector is a piece of electronic Starter Equipment, as well as a type of Evidence, that can be used to reveal the ghost running across it very quickly.
How It Works
The D.O.T.S Projector is mounted on the wall or floor similar to a Motion Sensor. It emits a matrix of bright green laser points in a small area from the projector.
If a Ghost can give D.O.T.S Projector evidence, it may appear as a figure running through the grid. D.O.T.S evidence is also visible through Video Cameras, and in the case of the Goryo, is required to see it.
Tips
Currently, the silhouette of the Ghost running across can be very difficult to see, as it is both very faint and moves extremely fast, making it very easy to miss, especially since it does not always occur every time the Ghost passes through the D.O.T.S Projector's beam.
Looking at the D.O.T.S Projector through a Video Camera with night vision on may help, as the silhouette is often much clearer and more developed when seen through night vision.
Placing two D.O.T.S Projectors in the same room makes it much more likely that you see the Ghost's silhouette, as you may see the D.O.T.S Projectors' grey silhouette on top of the regular black silhouette appearances.
