Ghost Model

Ghost model is the appearance of a ghost. There are currently seven male and four female ghost models in Phasmophobia, totalling 11 different ghost models. Each model can also appear as a shadowy or translucent version of itself during ghost events. Note that no singular ghost model is tied to a type of ghost, meaning that their appearance should not be used to judge the type of ghost.

The model of the ghost may conflict with information gathered from the Spirit Box and Ouija Board; ghosts labeled as "old" may have one of the models that one would equate to a child, for example.

This ghost model is semi-officially called Patient 07.

Postures

The child and "Patient 07" models have multiple postures that they can switch into during a contract. In addition to the standing posture, both of these models can be crawling, and bent over backwards for the "Patient 07" model.

For Christmas 2021, one of the ghost models was given a temporary Santa Claus garb, accompanied by ringing bells as footstep sounds. During Christmas 2022, the ghost would also transform into this model after eating the cookies.

For Halloween 2022, various ghost models wore a jack-o-lantern on their head.

On April Fools' 2023, all ghosts had a bigger head.

For Christmas 2023, the ghost would transform into a snowman after all dancing snowmen of the map were destroyed. Its footsteps were accompanied by ringing bells.

For Easter 2024, the ghost on Camp Woodwind would become a Forest Spirit after all five of its minions are photographed. The Forest Spirit came back for Easter 2025 and would appear on maps featuring the Cursed Hollow event.

For Christmas 2024, ghosts on 6 Tanglewood Drive, Bleasdale Farmhouse, Point Hope, and Maple Lodge Campsite used a special Krampus model.

• Some models are from the Unity Asset Store, more specifically this pack, with each of them having a dedicated name also being used in the game files.
• A Patient 07 plushie was available as official merchandise for a limited time, until 31 October 2024 (UK time).
