The ID Card is a cosmetic that shows the player's in-game progress.
Features[]
The ID card shows the name of the player, the platform they're playing on (Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox), their level, the player's badge, and their selected character model. For the player's own ID card, the bar shows the amount of experience needed to level up. When looking at other players' ID cards, the bar is used to adjust their voice chat volume. By default, the volume is set to 50%. The character model can be changed by clicking on the model portrait, and a player's badge can be changed by clicking the customize button in the top right corner.
Roles[]
By default, players are assigned the Ghost Huntin' Intern role. Different roles can be obtained through the prestige system, holiday events, contributing to the development of the game, being a Kinetic Games Partner, or through community-related events. Players that obtain a new role will also obtain a new badge that the role is linked to. The badge must be displayed on a player's profile to display the role.
Prestige Badges[]
Upon reaching Level 100 the player has the option to Prestige. Players will receive a new badge every Prestige that affects the role and color of the ID Card. Prestige Badges will also be displayed on the left shoulder of the player's character model, below the Legacy Badge. A player's prestige level will appear as Roman numerals prefixing their level (i.e. VI-002). Prestiges 1-10 display an ID Card with a static background and badge, while prestiges 11-20 display an ID Card with an animated background and badge.

Special Badges[]
Special badges are assigned to certain members of the community either through manual addition by the developers or through in-game events. These Badges will display in the right hand spot if no Prestige Badge is chosen, or left of the Prestige Badge when both are visible, and can also affect the overall color and role on the ID Card.
