List of voice lines

This is a list of voice lines used in Phasmophobia.

General voice lines

First Time

Upon loading in for the first time on a new device, you will be greeted with an End User License Agreement and a voice line.

• First day, huh? Well, I've already got some jobs ready for you. Don't worry, I'll be helping you out as much as I can from this side.

Training

• Welcome to your first day at Ghost Huntin' Distribution. Read the whiteboard to get started.
• Head to the door to the next section.
• Good job.
• Well done.
• Nice work.
• Move to the next room.
• Something's not quite right. You better hide, quickly!
• That was a close one. Congratulations on completing your training! You can exit through the truck by interacting with the keypad.

Main menu

These lines are used when loading into the main menu, after leaving a lobby, and after completing a contract.

• Welcome back! I've got some jobs ready for you.
• Welcome back! I've prepared some jobs for you.
• Welcome back! There's some jobs ready for you.

Multiplayer selection

These lines are used when loading into the server selection screen.

• I've gathered a list of other hunters asking for help.
• Looks like there are others out there in need of help.

If there are no servers currently available in the region, the following lines are used instead:

• Doesn't look like anyone else is in need of help.
• Unfortunately, it looks like you're on your own.

Loading into the truck

After all players have loaded into the map, information is given in two parts: instructions to set up, and any additional information that the instructor has. The voice lines are randomly selected and do not indicate what the ghost will actually do, whether it is aggressive, or whether there is a cursed possession; the latter is determined by the difficulty.

Arrival

• Alright, we're here. Take a look at the equipment, and prepare accordingly before starting the investigation. I've also written some notes on the whiteboard if you need them.
• We've arrived. Check the equipment, and get set up before investigating, and remember to check the whiteboard for help.

Additional intel

Original voice lines

• Got the intel, looks like this is going to be a tough one. We've had reports of violence, and it looks like they left in a hurry.
• I've got a report that suggests a possible ghost sighting.
• I've got nothing else to report unfortunately.
• New intel: reports of light switching. Possibly harmless, but be careful out there.
• No report this time. Be careful, you're going in blind.
• Nothing to report, but it looks like whoever was here left in a hurry.
• There's been no reports of violence or sightings, but please remain careful.
• We've had no reports of violence, but keep an eye out.

Added in 0.5.0

• The ghost here seems to be linked to a cursed object. Go and take a closer look, maybe using it will help your investigation.
• There’ve been new reports of a cursed object nearby. This must be the reason that the ghost was summoned here. Take a look, you may be able to use it to your advantage.
• Whoever was here must have summoned the ghost with a cursed object. Investigate it, but be careful. We don't know what it's capable of.

Key

If any player leaves the truck before the house key has been collected, the instructor will remind the players to collect it:

• I managed to get a copy of the key. I've left it on the desk for you.
• The owner left us a key. It's ready on the desk for you.

Prestige

When the player reaches level 100:

• We want to offer you a special kind of promotion.
• If you'd like to progress, you can now prestige.
• We'd like to offer you a promotion. Let us know if you'd like to progress further.
• Fancy moving up in the world? A prestige is now available.
